Are you a commercially savvy, detail-driven Quantity Surveyor looking to make your mark in a dynamic consultancy? At ST1 Group, we work with developers, contractors, and private clients to deliver projects that balance precision with performance – and we’re growing.

We're on the lookout for talented Quantity Surveyors to join our expert teams. You’ll play a vital role in both pre-contract and post-contract services across a wide range of exciting projects, supporting Senior Surveyors, Regional Directors, and the Board.  In our Manchester area North team, we are looking for Quantity Surveyors of all levels and Project Managers. At our South office, near Cambridge we are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor.

This is more than just a technical role — it’s your opportunity to build relationships, influence outcomes, and drive value for clients from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support on all aspects of quantity surveying and estimating, from cost planning to final accounts
• Provide strategic commercial and financial advice to clients
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs), tender submissions, and feasibility studies
• Manage sub-contractor procurement, contracts, valuations, and payments
• Maximise value recovery, cost control, and project profitability
• Prepare and negotiate claims, manage disputes, and support resolution
• Work closely with the wider ST1 team to grow the business and represent us professionally

What You’ll Bring:

• Formal qualifications in Quantity Surveying (degree-level preferred)
• Proven experience across both pre- and post-contract services
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to see the bigger picture
• Excellent technical and IT capabilities
• A proactive mindset and results-driven approach
• A collaborative, team-first attitude – with a sense of humour to match!
