ST1 Group North Team Takes on 50km Charity Challenge for Families United Warrington

Peak District Bronze Challenge

On Saturday, our ST1 Group Northern Team swapped hard hats for hiking boots to take on an incredible challenge — a 50km charity walk through the stunning Peak District.

From the early morning start to the final few kilometres, the team showed their usual remarkable determination, teamwork, and spirit as they tackled steep climbs, rugged trails, and unpredictable weather — all in support of a truly meaningful cause.

Walking for a Purpose

Every step of the journey was dedicated to Families United Warrington, a small, family-led charity making a big difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. The organisation runs inclusive activities, workshops, and community events that create opportunities for connection, fun, and support — values that deeply resonate with our own team culture at ST1.

We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and supporters, the team has already raised almost £2,100 — funds that will go directly towards helping Families United continue their vital work.

Team Spirit and Determination

It wasn’t an easy challenge — there were plenty of aching legs, tired feet, and a few blisters along the way — but the team kept each other motivated throughout. The sense of camaraderie and shared purpose made every tough moment worthwhile.
