Overcoming Challenges: ST1 Group’s Role in the West Hendon Broadway Project

ST1 Group played a crucial role in supporting McLaren Construction on the West Hendon Broadway project, a mixed-use development that required completion following the original contractor going into administration. With 43 residential apartments, commercial shell space, parking provisions, and extensive external and communal works, the project faced significant challenges due to inherited defects and unfinished works.

As part of the project, we reviewed, validated, and compiled McLaren’s 43-week Extension of Time (EoT) claim (£3.5M), reconciling subcontractor claims and presenting a comprehensive case to the client’s PQS, ensuring a fair and well-documented resolution.
